Red Blazers & Spiked Pumps.

Today's weather was beautiful. It wasn't as cold as it has been for the last week. I didn't have to wear my winter jacket instead, I opted for my red blazer. It might look light but it's a wool material so it was perfect for today.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

I vacationed recently in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It was my room mate's birthday weekend and thought, hey why not?
I hadn't been on vacation in such a long time & needed the rest. We stayed at an arty loft in Old San Juan & I tell you, it was AHHHMAZZINGG!!! We left the 40 degrees weather of Rhode Island to frolic under 90 degrees weather of Puerto Rico. Couldn't have been a better timing!!

I am very fortunate to know an amazing seamstress who happens to be my room mates's younger sister.      

 She has been giving me sewing lessons & I must say I have gotten quite good at it. I intend to keep you guys posted on my progress. Here are a few photos showing my work so far.
